Occupied building technology
A Built system designed to ensure minimal disruption to clients and neighbours in live environments, through three core principles:
Respect for occupiers

All workers adhere to a clear code of conduct, maintaining professional dress and language at all times, supported by site-specific signage, regular behavioural briefings, and consistent on-site reminders.

Clean & quiet work practices

Noisy tasks are scheduled outside business hours to reduce disruption, using soft-wheeled trolleys and diamond drills. Dust is controlled with tacky mats, screens, and overshoes, while exposure is minimized by opening work areas only as needed.

Continuity of service

Incumbent contractors are engaged as required, with regular liaison maintained with stakeholders. Detailed method statements and a permitting process are followed, and service isolations are coordinated with landlords when required.

Health and safety
Safety is non-negotiable. Our proactive approach ensures no compromise to wellbeing or compliance.
Our commitment

We prioritise safe, compliant sites by proactively managing risks, providing personal protective equipment (PPE), training and supervision, communicating clear safety procedures, and embedding safety throughout every project phase.

Team responsibilities

All workers are expected to follow safety protocols, report hazards or incidents, attend inductions and briefings, and stop work if conditions are unsafe. Built staff lead by example, ensuring a safe and compliant site for everyone.

Site-specific risk management

We carefully assess each site in detail to identify and manage all unique risks, including shared spaces and public areas, noise, dust, and waste, confined access and logistics, and emergency procedures.
